Chicago The Musical
Chicago - The Razzle Dazzle Broadway Musical - Wednesday September 25, 2019
Our recent trip to Sydney for Chicago the Musical was a great success and enjoyed by all. It was a very professional and polished production and the vocals were of a high quality. Thank you to George from Pacific Tours for transporting us safely and making sure we were all on time!
Loop the Lake Cruise
Loop the Lake Cruise - Friday, 18th October 2019 - Private Charter
(We are fully booked)
If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please contact Nielsine on 0409992866.
This beautiful exploration of Lake Macquarie departs from Booragul wharf (near Lake Macquarie Art Gallery) at 10am (arrive at 9.45) and cruises to the eastern side of the lake while you enjoy a Devonshire morning tea. Down to Pulbah Island at the bottom end of the lake and up to Wangi where we disembark and enjoy a hot lunch at the Workers Club overlooking the waters of Wangi Bay. Back onboard we enjoy a light dessert before arriving back at Booragul (3.30pm approx.)
Cost is $85pp and I have capped this at 50 places to ensure that there is sufficient covered area should the weather be unkind to us. It may be possible to expand this slightly should the demand be high.

Melbourne Cup Luncheon
Melbourne Cup Luncheon - Tuesday 5th November 2019
This year we will be joining the festivities at Charlestown Bowling Club from 11.00am. I have reserved 3/4 tables (30/40 people) but again this can be increased if necessary. This is a very popular event and fills very quickly once the Club announces the details. I attended last year and really enjoyed the day. Welcome Champagne on arrival, grazing platters on each table, main course and dessert. There will be entertainment, raffles, as well as fashions on the field for (him and her and couples) and sweeps are available as well as the TAB for more dedicated punters. A bar operates in the function room.
Cost per person is $55
Register at firstname.lastname@example.org with Melbourne cup in the subject line or call on 0409992866

Canberra is on Again !!I have had discussions with Jill and our Canberra trip for 2020 will depart on Monday 25th May for three nights/four days
The Canberra Visit itinerary has basically been finalised.
* Monday, 25th May. Depart Belmont. Arrive Canberra at approximately 2.30 with a visit to the War Memorial and an opportunity to lay a wreath at the Last Post ceremony.
* Tuesday, 26th May. Visit Government House, Burrunju Aboriginal Art Gallery (view Artists at work) and finally the new Portrait Gallery.
* Wednesday, 27th May. Visit Parliament House with tours, lunch, Question Time and Later to the High Court.
* Thursday, 28th May. The National Library before departing for home.
Obviously there may be some small changes as the time draws closer. Yes, it will be on the cool side but as we’ll be so busy we won’t notice it! Prices will be very similar to last year’s trip ( Cost single $590; Twin share $440) but will be confirmed once finalised - with a minimal increase in accommodation costs and hopefully a similarly small increase in the coach hire!
